FUNimation's making it so that at least anime fans are having a lucky time on Friday the 13th. That's because at 11:00 A.M. CST tomorrow morning they'll be streaming the first four dubbed episodes of Soul Eater. The series won't be released until 2010, so now is your chance to see if it's one you'll want to buy.
I haven't seen Soul Eater yet, of course, but FUNimation offers a very interesting description: "Unapologetically surreal and action-packed, Soul Eater is the tale of living weapons who team with human masters to hunt evil souls. Only after these dark forces are consumed can these partners hope to join the ranks of the famed Death Scythes." Does that sound like something up your alley?
In the meantime, there's also the Soul Eater manga, just now being released from Yen Press. There's nothing like having both an anime and manga series out there if you like the storyline.
