I don't know why they insist on remaking this anime. I've had to hear about the damn thing for the past 10 years, now with this, it'll be another 10. Ugh.
It still looks like the same exact anime, just more "digital" and with some more fancy 3 effects. Otherwise, what is the point of this remake? There doesn't appear to be much in the way of actually doing anything that hasn't already been done with it before. and a lot of the scenes look like they've been taken directly out of the original, with a couple more frames added. At this rate we'll be getting remakes of anime from 5 years ago...

but hey, who's to judge from just a few scenes from the trailer about what the movie is gonna actually consist of...even though we all know what it's gonna be about, the quality of animation better at least prove worthy for the time it has taken them to release this.

The trailler looked like it showed re-done parts from eps 1-6, maybe 7 (since its this was 1 of the rare ep were we see misato's hair in a ponytail seen in the trailer). Asuka enters in ep8> :3

How about they remake "Nadia", huh? That was a series I enjoyed quite a bit. If they're going to redo "Aim for the Top!" (a.k.a. "GunBuster") and "Evangelion", they could at least make a new "Nadia" movie or something.
