That map-thing above seems to represent the main battle interface, with more screenshots available in the gallery, among them some backgrounds from the game's visual novel-like portions.
Of course, one might say "It was a browser-based game, what did you expect?" and they'd be right, but this looks worse than the original Sega Saturn release. Today's browsers can handle better.
Ah well, it's a Sakura Wars game, and we haven't had one of those in any form, awesome or otherwise, in years.
