Trying to catch up on a long running manga can be a pain at times; especially when you have to venture out of your way to hunt down the previous volumes. I know I've been there, and it can take some time to make sure that you are up to date with each book.

If Bakuman and One Piece are lying somewhere in your manga bucket, then Viz's new release will be something that you can look into. That said, Bakuman is going to get a box set that includes all 20 volumes, the Otter No.11 special comic, and a two sided poster that's in color. On the other hand, One Piece's set will include the entire East Blue and Baroque Works arc, so you will have the first 23 volumes to breeze through, along with a poster and a mini comic that will spark up your long journey through the Grand Line.

Bakuman's set will be available on October 1st for $159.99 (US and CAN), with One Piece getting its release on November 1st for $185.99 (US and CAN). While their releases are a month apart, it will at least give readers enough time to finish Bakuman, so that they can put their full effort into keeping up with One Piece

Viz has really done people a favor, because readers are getting the chance to complete a manga series, and/or get a heads start on a long running one. Also, I recommend checking out Bakuman, since it's done by the two guys that brought us Death Note, along with giving readers an exaggerated take on what it's like to create mangas for Weekly Jump. Either way, you won't go wrong with your both sets, due to the fun that you will have with Bakuman and One Piece

This Attack on Titan mock film poster is pretty sweet

I have very little faith in the Japanese film industry's ability to make a decent live action adaptation of Attack on Titan. Very few studios here could supply the budget required to make it work. This is especially the case ...

Tokyo ESP manga to get an anime adaptation

I have no idea if anybody out there is reading it, but Hajime Segawa's  Tokyo ESP is a lot of fun. The first arc stars a high school girl named Rinka, a poor girl who ends up developing super powers that allow her t...
