So Kyoto Animation or P.A. Works are not going to ride the waves on adapting the Little Busters! visual novel game by Key. Before you get upset about the news, J.C. Staff did do a fantastic job in animating Ano Natsu de Matteru, so there is hope that Little Busters! will also get the same treatment.
If there is one concern, it is the fact that Yamakawa Yoshiki (Kill Me Baby) will be directing the series. Besides that issue, Iizuka Haruko (Tamayura - Hitose, Inu X Boku SS) will be in charge of designing the characters for the adaptation, Shimada Michiru (Nanatsuiro Drops, Jewelpet Twinkle) will do the series composition, and Kawase Kohei (Accel World) will play the role of executive producer.
I can see this show having a 50/50 chance of going either way, since you have both good and bad factors behind the series. Lets hope that Key does a good job in supervising the series, so that it can at least capture the magic of what made Little Busters! a great game for its fans.
So what do you think of all of this, Key fans. Was it worth the wait, or do you see yourselves getting disappointed with the adaptation of your beloved visual novel game.
