Simply put, this trailer makes me cry like a little girl. And I think that it'll do the same to you. Like, full out bawling, even if you're some big "tough guy." For anyone that's ever had a dog, or even has any love towards the species will be struck by this story.

The film, Hachi: A Dog's Story, starring Richard Gere, tells the tale of the legendary dog Hachiko-- Jesus. I can't even write this up, I'm crying so much over it. It's too hard to see the monitor at this point. You know what? Just go read the story over on Wikipedia.

The film is coming out right before Christmas here in the US (December 18th), but it's currently going on a roadshow in Japan, and so that's why we're getting trailers up on YouTube now. The film debuted back at the Seattle International Film Festival, and by all accounts seems to be a great film.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go curl up in bed and cry some more.
