Get your ANAL dust jacket! Wait, what?

Get your ANAL dust jacket! Wait, what? photo

I know what you're thinking: How would that work? And, was there ever a real dust problem there to begin with?

You're on the wrong track. ANAL stands for All Nippon Air Lines. This is an airline where all employees are gay men, and inter-office relationships are highly encouraged. It wasn't us; it was a press release for All Nippon Airlines: Paradise at 30,000 Feet from June Manga that referenced the term Mile High Club!

“This is pretty much all the staff member’s favorite title to work on this year,” explains production manager Fred, “It has gotten us into all kinds of trouble with its somewhat controversial title!”

Ah, the dust jacket makes a bit more sense now.

“The bookstores didn’t want to actually see ANAL written on the cover,” explains sales manager Eric. “But the play on words is what really makes the book unique. We figured a limited edition dust jacket would be a way to give the fans what they want, but also make the bookstores happy.”

So, you want that ANAL dust jacket now, right? You can visit any DMP/June booth at your favorite anime con, ask for a cover with your order at Akadot, or request one via mail (details after the jump).

Get your ANAL fix on Feburary 26th!
