In all fairness, our European compatriots often get the short end of the stick when it comes to anime and videogame releases, so it's great to hear that they'll be getting a theatrical release for Ghost in the Shell 2.0, a reworking of Mamoru Oshii's classic title.

The news comes from 24fps, who says the limited theatrical release will be done by Manga Entertainment starting on October 2nd, as a run up to the DVD's release on October 27th. So, be sure to round up your friends and find a local theatre to check out the film in.
