Gilgamesh has a cool Fate/Zero chess set, and you can too

Of course, I'm reasonably sure the King of Heroes doesn't call his Fate/Zero-themed set a "Fate/Zero-themed chess set. He probably just calls it "My chess set". Just like he'd call everything else "mine", as per his "I own everything" shtick.

Anyway! You might not have the original, but in true Shirou-esque fashion, you can get yourself a sweet knock-off of that very board, complete with seven gold game pieces in the classic Servant shapes, seven gold masters that look as puny as the mere humans they represent, and a Holy Grail piece for all and sundry to fight over. Rules of the game say that you must yell "I'M WINNER!" when you claim it at the end. Only then will you get the customary response ("A WINNER IS YOU!") and have your wish granted.

Sold by Bandai itself (no Tracing orequired), the set will run you a cool Y9,980 ($125). And it seems that the King of Heroes didn't see fit to include another side to the board, which means you mortals will have to open up your Babylonian Treasury a second time if you want to turn it into a real game of chess.

Still, at least it's a classier piece of Fate/Zero merch than, say, an Irisviel hug pillow, right?
