Gin Tama to get a full-length film? Uh, yes please

Gin Tama to get a full-length film? Uh, yes please photo

Details are sketchy, but it seems as though Gin Tama fans are in for a treat, and I'm not talking about just another OVA. Orichon is apparently reporting that the series will be receiving its very own full-length animated feature film.

I personally can't wait, seeing as it's one of the few shonen series in recent years that doesn't strike me as "too kiddy". Don't get me wrong, Bleach and Naruto are great, they're just not for me, and don't get me started on One Piece--it should be mentioned that even with the un-edited episodes, the character designs make me vomit in my mouth a little every time.

Gin Tama, on the other hand, has always striked me as a healthy dose of comedy and drama with just the right amount of action. Toss in a few mechs and hot women and I'd be in heaven. I guess no series is perfect though. Well, maybe a few of them are.

Warner Brothers should be set to distribute the film some time next year. Are any of you as excited as I am?

Hell yes! This is one of the few on-going series that I still watch, and a full-length movie would be amazing.
I would love it if this happened ... but knowing Sorachi's penchant for practical jokes and fakeouts, I'm skeptical. I don't want to get my heart broken! :D
No.

I'm more interested in this film.

Seriously? That'd be like pins in my eyes.
DIAMOND PINS
Not even you could sell me on it, Len. Sorry :)
Gintama is only the best manga running in Shounen Jump right now. Still disappoints me that a lot of anime fans aren't getting into the series :\
