The up and coming spring season of anime is going to rock, especially now that Golgo 13 will be adapted into an anime series. Shogakukukan’s Big Comic magazine provided the world with this information on their January 10 issue, with Golgo 13 posing on the cover. You might remember the previous two animated movies from back in the day, Golgo 13: The Professional, and Golgo 13: Queen Bee; these were two classic movies that any anime fan would (should) have watched back in the day before the advent of the internet.

However, this series has been around for a lot longer than that. The manga, which has bee around since 1969, has over 147 volumes of manga currently available in Japan. This is fantastic news for those of us who don’t want to read over a hundred volumes of manga, but still want to get their professional assassin fix. I'm telling you now that the spring season is seriously going to be great, I calling it now.
