Don't let the title get you too excited just yet. When I first read about this, I thought it was pretty cool -- you know, to have Gundam whenever you wanted. But the more I read about it, the more it started to suck.
In 2007, Sony and Namco Bandai joined together in what they call Cellius. However, the combined duo wasn't meant to make video games but rather on other content that were going to be "interactive." It seems the Gundam on demand happens to be one of those contents. Cellius said they wanted to do a demand service of videos and for Gundam, they are calling it the "Gundam Viewchives." I know, the title is quite hilarious.
So where is the disappointing part of this? I'll tell you now. The Gundam Viewchives will have only clips from episodes, not the entire episode itself. I guess it's more like an interaction between the characters and the Gundam, instead of just concentrating on the storyline itself. This kind of thing isn't really that bad, but I'm sure a lot of people would have been happier if it was entire episodes.
