This is, by far, the greatest thing I've ever seen and I'm kicking myself for not having known about sooner. Apparently, back in 2000, an amusement park in Fujiyoshida opened up a Gundam ride that was similar to the Star Wars and Back to the Future rides we have at amusement parks like Disneyland and Universal Studios. Of course, those other rides are no where near as awesome as this. During the ride, you were escorted through final battle of the one year war on a federation transport by a couple of GM pilots. There's actually a reference to the ride in the PS2 game Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space, where you run across the two GMs and the transport.

Unfortunately the ride itself met it's demise back in 2007, and while we won't actually get to ride it ourselves, you can do the next best thing by watching other people do it. I'd join you in watching it over and over again, but it just makes me sad that I never got a chance to ride it myself. See the videos after the jump.
