Looking to get your Gundam Unicorn fix come March? Well, you're going to have to go to Amazon.com for it. In what I presume to be an effort to cut down on distribution headaches, they're going to be going with the largest online retailer to handle their shipments for Gundam Unicorn's simultaneous release.
Probably because you guys are already checking the Internet as-is, so you're going to know about this.
So, get ready to pay some Bandai Visual-esque prices with this two-episode OVA disc costing you a whopping $35. At least it's lower than the $50 MSRP. I've got to say, though: this is a pretty bad price point to go with. I'm figuring Bandai Japan dictated what it had to be, and their hands are tied, but still.
I'm going to go ahead and buy it -- I really want to see some Char Aznable Full Frontal action. What about the rest of you?
On the other hand, this is supposed to be six episodes, right? So, we're looking at close to 100 for three discs before taxes? I love me some Gundam, but I'm willing to wait for a collected edition a year or so down the line.
