I have some great news for all of you who love the boxing anime/manga Hajime no Ippo. Supposedly in the 42nd issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, there will be an announcement of a new television series in January. Though this news isn’t for certain until that 42nd issue hits the shelves, but in my opinion it sounds like it has a 90% chance of actually going down.
Now after the adrenalin died down, I have some questions that need to be answered. Where will this new television series start, and how long will it be? I don’t believe they will re-animate the fight that happened right after the end of the television series, because that one was made into the feature-length film called "Champion Road". It will probably start after that fight, and could possibly continue until it catches up with the manga; which would be boss. I’m seriously excited and hope this pans out when Weekly Shonen Magazine comes out this October.

I have caught up on the manga and I REALLY REALLY WANT THIS NOW! some of the fights in the manga will be freaking insane in anime form. Also another question, Is madhouse doing it again? They did a great job on the first set so hopefully they'll do it again.
I really want this now... The latest fight in the manga showed off a cool entrance by Ichiro Miyata. An entrance that would be even more cool had it been animated.
