Boxing on the wii with anime/manga subtext = amazing
Based of the popular manga, Hajime no Ippo comes out on the 21st of this month. While we've covered this before, the control schemes were recently announced (along with a handful of screens.) Two "controller" (gamecube and virtual console controller presumably) variations and one wiimote selection. Forget gameplay mechanics, the screen shot above sold me. In my opinion melodrama just needs to spray itself all over the sports genre. Forget Madden, we need Eyeshield 21. Virtual Tennis? More like Prince of Tennis. Am I right?

I agree. I can't stand most sports games, and would love to play something a little different. And a little Yaoi wouldn't hurt either.
I can't wait to see how many Tv's and windows are gonna be the victim of a sendo smash that is a bit too enthusiastic
