Happy 13th anniversary Utada Hikaru

It's hard to believe it's been 13 years since the amazing sensation known as Utada Hikaru burst upon the music industry. Few artists have met the success and artistic levels that Utada has carved for the industry. Although she's been hiatus for the past year, the anniversary of her debut did not go un-noticed as she updated her twitter with the following message for her fans.

Yesterday was the 13th anniversary of my debut! Even though I have been on hiatus for a year already, I received a lot of congratulations, thank you so much “(`(エ)´)ﾉ彡☆ !!”

“It’s been a while, but yesterday I went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned. The dentist said I had a ‘small mouth’.”

We congratulate Utada Hikaru on her anniversary and all she has contributed. I hope she doesn't keep this hiatus going for too long! Hit the jump for the all time classic First Love.
