Hardcore fan blends Anime and techno music photo
ANN reports, Anime fan Pete Ellison, also known as the DJ Initial P, launched an all new album, entitled 'Anime Love Hardcore', which is full of high-energy remixes of the best anime theme songs. Featuring fan-favorite songs from shows like Rurouni Kenshin, Evangelion, Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Lupin the 3rd, and Gurren Lagann!

According to Ellison, acquiring the licenses to the songs wasn't that bad aside from the tedious paperwork, however they did slap some limitations on the project as it can only be bought and sold in the U.S. The album is now available on the iTunes store and on the official Disko Warp website.

Have you guys really never heard of Exit Trance?
That's not techno....
This is nothing more than bubble gum music and it's horrible, cue the jail bait err. . . . becky cruel stage left. How anyone could listen to this is beyond me, and how anyone could call this abomination techno is inconceivable, this doesn't really even qualify as music, it's just crap!
I'm reminded of happy hardcore and the rave scene that died 10 years ago.
Sounds more like an average Jpop song than techno.
Ahhh, so not techno! Too bubble gum! I personally think it would much cooler if someone would try to do some anime DnB! Noisia, Phace, Future Prophecies.. so badass.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mzgqtob6gVo&feature=related for actual techno, bunch of songs im pretty sure is off a cd which is much more techno-y then this~
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6Fil2IuVVA liquid drum n bass that samples from Voices from Macross Plus. I'd much rather listen to a well remixed/produced track like this.
Anyone who likes hard dnb might like this:

@da MiGHTy pLUm

nice!
I wonder if this is going go get a Japanese release. Japan seems to love when America or any western countries make anime interesting just like how Power Ranger (American adaptation dub of Super Sentai) was "redubbed" in Japanese.
yeah..Way too happy. I would rather stick with the ACTUAL openings, and mix them in WITH the techno and stuff.

Ah well, too good to be true.
Oh, and Bu the way, Y'all links are REALLY good.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJ0UNV5raiM dj amaya + k-on equals...well full of internet winz
Not even close to Techno in the Slightest, this is more of a Happy Hardcore mix with a bubblegum feel.

Ears are bleeding...>.
