It messes it up even more. Not even the chronology of the episodes in 'our world', but the chronology of the *timeline* in the show's world. Nice.

Bamboo Leaf Rahposdy was meant to be the "first" episode in the series instead of the episode numbered 00 Asahina Mikuru's Adventures. It wasn't aired teh first time around. So, for those of you hwho are lost in the orders of episodes, FOllowing teh oder that the episodes originaly aired, this is episode 01....sorta... -_-'

btw...chronologically, this is episode 8, forgot to mention that :P

Actually, its still fine.
For The-Excel´s joy, these new episodes are in chronological order.
The only problem in this episode is that there is a 6 minutes "flashback" about something of 3 years ago.
This is still episode 8 in every way.

I didn't say it was bad :P And it's not at all a "flashback". They are *there*. That's what I meant about 'messing up' the series timeline a little, but it does go back to status quo afterwards :P When I posted I was still in the middle of that timetrip.

I didn't know the rebroadcast was being done in chronological order though, so thanks for correcting me there. I hadn't been paying attention and was just keeping an eye out for the new ones.

I haven't seen the new episode yet, but from what I've heard, according to the order of the stories in the novels, they placed this chronologically where it belongs (meaning it's following the order of the novels).

Anyway, this episode turned out okay. Only thing I didn't like was the seemingly 'new look', though I wonder if it's just me, or KyoAni has become too moe-ified. But whatever.

If there's one thing I did notice: kid Haruhi said 'sliders', whereas in the first episode of the TVs eries, she didn't mention them....

@kamanashi, I'm fairly certian, leats thats all the info I have been able to dig up. As far as I know, the episode was written in, and a storyboard was produced. But the episode was never actually animated or produced, so you are correct there.Over all I'm noyt entierly sure...thanks to Kadokawas way of not telling anyone hardly anything.

Anyway, I'm slightly sad that they're now doing the chronlogical thing, for one main reason: since they won't jump episodes, we may not be able to meet Sasaki this time round. JAMN.

I loved the way the episode order was jumbled/mixed for the first season, so having them air it chronologically is kind of a disappointment to me. I still love me that Haruhi, tho.

Well good for you, but to be honest, it's sort of stupid that you just commented "*vomit*" Think I care? No. Maybe if you gave some decent reasons. Until then I'd rather read the other nice comments on here.

Hmmm, then I suppose I must have forgotten: my apologies if we did clear that up a year ago. That being said, I'm not sure which article it was.

That being said, as Scotty pointed out: your use of 'vomit' is kinda silly. I mean, you've posted on every Haruhi article on your distaste but it doesn't really turn the tide of favour for the show. And your one review is just one out of other disfavourable reviews of the show (so you're not alone) You don't have to bring the hate here.

But, as always, just as you are convinced that it is, I am convinced that the show isn't pretentious. If I wanted pretentious, I would go to something like Evangelion. For me, the show works because it had a careful mix of everything I wanted out of an anime. Maybe it didn't for you, but, just as I don't speak for everybody, neither do you.

Someone's gotta say it.

Actually, no one has to. If they don't like it, they have just as much of a choice to just keep quiet.
