Hayate no Gotoku second season simulcast on Crunchyroll! photo

I guess this season is the season of the simulcast, because here comes a new challenger! Hayate the Combat Butler (Hayate no Gotoku) second season will be broadcasted on Crunchyroll one hour after it's on Japanese television sets; you can’t get much fresher than that. In fact, they already have the first episode up, with glorious subtitles and all.

Hayate is one of those shows made for the otaku in mind. It is stuffed to the brim with sweet little otaku jokes, that only those who suffered their way through a crowded convention hall would know. Though most of the jokes are more Japanese otaku related; meaning a lot of them are from older anime like the first Gundam. Nevertheless, it’s your average harem anime with added elements of shonen anime; like fighting, powering up, and over-the-top special attacks. If that struck your fancy, then go over and watch the first episode now! Check out the entire press release after the jump.

I don't know how to feel about this.

On one side, HAYAAAAAAATEEEEEEEEE!!

On the other... Ugh, Crunchyroll.
HAAAYYATTEE!! i just saw the 1st episode. so is the main character hina now? lol an entire ending dedicated to her is pretty win
i almost couldnt watch it even tho i love the series so much. the quality was just so poor, bad timed subtitles and the lag...I stopped watching CR in dec and hoped by now it would be fix but it's not. and i know it's them cuz all other sites work fine lol. not so much a problem for hayate but back in dec i was watching linebarrels and nearly every action scene suffered from it ...and the low bitrate squares no matter what u choose lol. Anyway, Awesome hayate s2......sticking with fansubs tho
is it just me or do the colors seem....*brighter* this season?
I still refuse to go to crunchy roll until they bring Legend of the Galactic Heroes back.

Cut me off so close to the end... (Grumble)
I wish I were able to DL this from the site like Druaga. It felt good legitimately downloading something.
