Or not. It's up to you, and I can't force you to do anything. Countless anime series have taught me that making people - especially young teens - do things against their will is bad.
That said, I heartily suggest that you at least try out Chantelise: A Tale of Two Sisters, the next game from the fine folks at Japanese indie dev EasyGameStation, brought to you by the fine folks at indie localization outfit Carpe Fulgur. Yes, the same Carpe Fulgur that localized Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. Their breezy, irreverent style was just perfect for that clever little game, and from the looks of Chantelise's demo (available right here as well as on major PC download services), it's just perfect for this one.
Folks who liked Recettear for its clever twist on JRPG conventions and unusual, item-shop management gameplay might be a little less satisfied with Chantelise, though. Besides being technically older than Recettear (EasyGameStation developed this game first), it's also a more "traditional" game, set squarely in the action-RPG dungeon-crawling genre.
But still, the localization's what's got me primed for this cute title's release, which is happening....today. Carpe Fulgur have us covered on that front. Check out the trailer below.
Capitalism, ho!
