Hidamari Sketch, one of the other shows done by Shaft and directed by Akiyuki Shinbo (in other words, the production company and director of Sayonara, Zetsubou-sensei), has gotten a second season. Moonphase brought up the information, and it'll be called Hidamari Sketch x 365. Besides the show itself, a year long radio drama will be in the works.

The show is a slice-of-life series following several girls in the Hidamari apartment complex who all go to an art-focused high school together. If you're an art student, you owe it to yourself to check it out. If you're not, you might as well watch it for the high quality work that Shaft puts into the series -- it's one of those gems that a lot of people are likely to pass up.
