Takashi Murakami, designer, illustrator, papercraft subject, bling bringer and BFF of Kanye West, is obviously no stranger to making cash money. His profile is higher than Snoop Dog on any day of the week, and rising.
Next up on his to-do-list? Two things. First, Superflat First Love, the new animated short for Louis Vuitton's spring color pallet. No really. You can see a clip of it above.
Second? Illustrating the packaging of the new single from AKB48, "Namida Surprise." AKB48 is one of those unstoppable J-pop supergroups full of girls and an overarching sense of dirty, dirty shame. In fact AKB48 also provided the song for Superflat First Love, simply titled "First Love."
What does it all add up to? Money in the bank! Hell, even *I* can't wait to get my hands on those girls. Oh! I mean those fashionable objects. Collectables! I want to collect them all. Arg! OK, let's just forget I was ever here.
