In the grim darkness of the Idol industry's future, there is only WAR. Or so goes the prophecy that I cooked up just now, thanks to news that production company Sky Star is aiming to take out the famed Akihabara-based idol group AKB48.
Sky Star is currently in the recruiting phase to found a massive idol army for the HRJK96, a horde twice the size of AKB48. As might be inferred from the acronym, HRJK96 will headquarter in the fashionable neighborhood of Harajuku.
With two dozen now recruited courtesy of the rather homely-looking video below the jump, HRJK96 only needs 72 more members before they can plan their assault. I would recommend that the AKB48 begin preparing Akiba for siege, using their fans as meatshields.
