Huzzah! Shingeki no Kyojin gets an anime this spring

This is legitimately awesome.

I'm not sure how many of you folks out there have been reading it, but Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) is an awesome manga penned by Hajime Isayama. It takes place in a quasi-apocalyptic world in which the remnants of humanity have built walls around the final city, designed to keep out giant man-eating humanoid monsters called Titans. It's violent, it's gritty, it's raw, and it's absolutely awesome.

Looks like Kyojin will be getting an anime adaptation in the spring of 2013. Not much in the way of details, so stay tuned as information comes in.

I'm really excited to see how this one turns out. What about you?
