Good news for all of you who need some more suicidal Japanese high school teacher in your life. Ninjas tell us that on Wednesday, Weekly Shonen Magazine will announce a new third season of Zetsubo Sensei will premiere on Japanese televisions in July. It will go by the name of Zan Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei.
I really wonder how this anime is going to work. The first season was primarily about the different personalities of each character in the class (in two mini episodes.) Then in the second season, each episode was separated into three smaller episodes. The first was another character profile, the second was almost always a rant of some kind against society, and the third was an experiment in the medium of animation. I got a funny feeling that the third season is going to be even more random than the second. Zetsubo Sensei is not your average comedy, and I hope the third season doesn’t stray from that. When it comes to Zetsubo, the crazier it is, the better.
