This is the week of my dreams, because it just so happens to be the week of the giant robot insects (and I know a spider is not an insect!) However, this one is not made in Japan, but a product of France; so if a war breaks out between France and Japan, expect an epic spider vs. beetle tank battle! Japan Probe found a video of this giant spider being unpacked in Yokohama, for Yokohama’s 150th birthday celebration. I wish I was Yokohama.
This robot is amazing! It can walk, spit webbing, and can make snow appear from the heavens! After the jump there is another video of this robot making sweet havoc to the mellow sounds of a harp in Liverpool. If any one here who is reading this works in a convention, I just want to let you know that I‘d rather see this at a convention more than any power ranger actor you can throw at me. Just keep that in mind.
I know we're in a big funk, America, but we are really falling behind. We need to get to work on completing our giant robot scorpion! I nominate myself as the pilot, of course.
Dang, all these countries are getting ahead of us in their badass robot programs. Hey American military, hurry up and get those Iron Man suits working!
all of the major countries should build a giant robot animal and when the world faces a crisis from space they would combine into a giant robot like voltron

omg.....lmao...yes most deff....wow this made my day :)
knowing george bush...he probably has one of these somewhere
This is acutaly mroe impresive thanthe beetle becouse its weight is entirely on its legs. The only issue i have is how many people it takes to control it ,make that number go down and you have realy got sumtin else there.
@Heero Yuy: "Guess I better hurry up... all these giant robot creatures are making people forget about the vastly superior Humanoid ones"
Heero don't forget their is a hierarchy when making giant robots, first you start out small(ex.Asimo) then you move on to bigger and better ones(ex.Wing Zero Custom)
also i stand by my same comment on the giant kabuto beetle, i see zoids in the near future.
we need a giant insectoid/arachnid bot in the usa asap. avriviations ftw!
