Insanely beautiful Japan video gave me goosebumps photo

I hate what sometimes comes along with the classification, but I'm one that loves Japan. I love it with all of my heart, and while some of that comes from growing up in Tokyo, much more of it is related to what I've learned later in my travels and through blogging about the little island country and its people. I love the culture, people and geography so much that I'm visiting every year and I never tire of it. When I'm not there I miss it. And this video makes me miss Japan so hard.

A guy named Brad Kremer recorded and produced this video. He calls it Hayaku, and you'll see why when the film gets going -- it's all time-lapse photography. The imagery in this video is stunning. I've been to almost everywhere in the video, but the shots here have me remembering the feeling I always have -- that feeling that I wish I could capture what these areas look like visually. Kremer has done a fantastic job of treating your eyes to the vistas, cityscapes and attractions that make Japan so beautiful.

I like this video so much that it's my new official response to those that always ask why I travel to Japan so much. How could you not want to go after seeing this video? Also, it will serve as my In Your Face video for the idiots that travel to Tokyo and only do the Roppongi and/or Akihabara thing.

You'll find the video after the jump, but do yourself a favor and watch this in HD, fullscreen.

Royksopp music is awesome
not that unique, there's plenty of other's just like it. kinda boring really.
that was so awesome. i watched it with headphones on, video maximized and it was an experience. i love the night scenes where the rotation made it look like shooting stars. and the royksopp track fit the video so well.

i just started saving up money to go with my best friend. we still have another year before we can go :( but bookmarking this video will make it much easier to save whenever i want to spend until then. haha
I've been lurking around the site for a while now, but I just had to join and say something about this.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I was in Japan in April, and used the J-Rail pass to hit up Tokyo, Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagano, Nagoya, Kyoto, and some more.
After seeing the video, it made miss it so much more then I already do. It made me realize that there is so, so much more to see. I plan on going again next year.
I know theres other time lapse videos like this, but I think this one was really well done.

Any recommendations on what to visit when I'm in Japan again?
Cannot believe that it can get through so vividly via the web.
