Inuyasha, the series that just won't die gets an OVA photo

Just when I thought it was time to close the books on Inuyasha forever, this happens. Why, oh why, do we need to produce a 30-minute OVA/OAD (if you want to use the new lingo) for the series? Was the final chapter truly that momentous that it needs to be summarized and sold en masse to the legions of Inuyasha fans? I mean, it's going to be over a minute per-page at that rate.

The OAV is entitled Kuroi Tessaiga (it translates to "Black iron-crushing fang), and there's no word as to what is even being covered in it. I'm figuring that, like Pringles, they're not going to be able to stop at just one. Another seven years might be on the way, with the anime telling its own original story. I know I'm just pumped for this.

Well, at least Viz will be happy.

KILL IT WITH FIRE!!
Oh jeez the world just NEEDS another Inuyasha related piece of crap.
I'm actually kinda glad I hate unfinished anime adapts.
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

*runs and hides*
Inuyasha IS the most overrated anime ever made
I still, for the life of me, can't understand why [Adult Swim] still runs Inuyasha. They could be showing reruns of stuff like Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Mobile Suit Gundam, Shin Chan, or just something else. Granted I'm not much for watching reruns, but if you're gonna rerun something, why not make it something decent?
As sick of Inu as I am, I'm still pissed that it never finished, so I say bring it on.
...... You are sad Nettle, can't you tell they're never going to really give it a REAL ending? lol (jk)

@b00017etc: Hahhaa, that's a good question!
Seriously? An OAV? Really?
I'd say Kenshin, but I'm reading the manga, and have a boner for history.
Well, let's just see if they finish the story once and for all. The manga's over, so maybe they can finish this nonsense.

Japanator Interviews: DAISUKI.net's Eri Maruyama

You might of heard that there is a new streaming site that has just launched out of Japan. It is being backed by some big names in the anime world like Aniplex, Sunrise, and Toei. What could that exactly mean for you, you ask? Well, let me let Eri Maruyama (International Business Development) at DAISUKI answer that as well as many more burning questions that I had about the new service.
