Earlier this year, we filled you in on the disturbing case of Chris Handley, who had a nice little collection of drawings of children being sexually abused tucked under his mattress. We've just heard via ANN that Handley is scheduled to receive his sentence on January 15th for the possession of this material, and that it will consist of up to 15 years prison time and a $250,000 fine. Ouch.
Handley did plead guilty to possession of this material, which was tracked because it was being mailed back and forth to him via USPS. I'm glad they can't see some of the stuff that's flown through my email, because if so I'm pretty sure Editor-in-Chief Brad Rice would be in jail already if that were the case. Also, I'm totally joking. Brad Rice is an angel.
