Is April fools really over? More Haruhi season 2 rumors

Is April fools really over? More Haruhi season 2 rumors photo

I’m not sure what to believe anymore, and so should you after yesterdays nonstop attack here at Japanator; and what makes this even worse is that it’s more Haruhi season 2 news. Sankaku Complex reports that the Haruhi rerun happing in Japan this season will in fact be 28 episodes instead of the 14 episodes that it should be. This could mean that they will play the rerun twice, or--more likely--that the new season will be mixed in with the old episodes, or after the rerun is complete.

It has already been reported that the first episode aired in Japan will the "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya I", which is the first one chronologically; so things are already different. I can honestly see this working, because Haruhi, for some reason, never likes to broadcast their anime like any other. The first one was out of order, so it wouldn’t be weird if the second one was hidden within the first season. Though this still could be a very late April fools joke, or Kadokawa being a jerk, or Haruhi herself playing with our emotions. Stop playing games with my heart.

[Thanks for the tip Erik]
