I'm in college... no money, the end.

Well...I hate being poor...having no money to do much of anything sans paying bills is really starting to get to my family and myself.

It would appear to me that no matter how much we work, how much we get paid, we still don't have enough to do anything but buy gas to get to and from work, and eat after paying the bills.

My beloved luxury items aren't being consumed and I desire them, I desire them so much.

oops, meant to add...at least it's getting better somewhat, I'm not spending $200 for gas every other week.

High school sucks to many projects I think i'm drowning in projects idiot friends idiot ppl piss me off the worlds problems and so on.

All of my money is going to fixing my car. Brakes need replacing ($60-80), frontpipe is busted ($100-200), and I need a tire rotation and fluids ($20-30).

I have a five page paper due tomorrow that I didn't start because I ended up watching all 12 hours of SingSterling ;_; That's kind of my fault though.

LittleBigPlanet release date got pushed back... the week just got longer

I saved over the wrong slot in Ar Tonelico. Not bad because it was the furthest save in the game, but I'll miss at least 1 of multiple endings. Also brought the Teknoman DVD collection, but found out it's dub only and highly edited! Throwing that sucker back! >_<

So okay here goes...

Late august my dad gets a quadruple bypass heart surgery, leaving me the only person in my house who can actually drive. Also with the added pressure with taking care of my lil brother and helping him with school. All this happening at the same time while Im taking Anatomy and Physiology class which I need to get an A on in order for me to not waste my entire semester.

September rolls in and my entire area loses power for about 8 days with added pressure with a post-op family member, I drive around the city in search of a generator and kept running into price-gouging idiots and crazy effers which I almost got into a fight with.

We get power back eventually but the next day I get my first Unit Exam which I fail because the previous day some girl backed into my car and denting my 2 month-old new car. The following days the website I ordered Gia's replacement Gurren Lagann suddenly gets lost in the mail and I had to call some call center to get my money back and I get disrespected by the call agent just cause we happen to be from the same country.

Then October starts off, I was readying up the tribute videos for Dtoid and out of nowhere my video camera stops working and Im still trying to get a good replacement within my price range (coughImUnemployedcough). This added with my laptop mysteriously crashing every couple of days.

But I did get to hang out with some friends last night which was pretty awesome.

got into an accident with my sister's car, got a low test grade which forced me to quit my job of only a month and a half, found out the girl i had feelings for has been making out with a guy she met the same night she met me, and i became a confidant for my other friends, so their mental burdens are put on top of my own. all this happened just this last week and i sincerely wish i made these things up T_T

My current account currently stands at -£999 because my student loan has failed to materialise, I have 3 massive pieces of work due in for next week, and while I do have my PS3 with me (I am at university away from home), I lack any sort of monitor or TV to play it on. I'm just sitting here, staring at it.

A close relative of mine is in the hospital for almost a month, and I've been visiting each day since, on top of that my great-aunt of 84 y.o. has a leg injury and have to take her to the nearest health centre every other day for a nurse to treat the injury.I also don't have a job.

my fiance just got the cold feet and left me. We were together for 2 years and know she just left me. I havent ate for 3 days now in sadness and watching "Rosario Vampire Capu" and "Soul Eater" trying to cheer me up.

My Gamecube 1019 Memory Card just randomly decided to corrupt itself, releasing all the game saves of my entire 60+ game collection into oblivion. That's like over 5 years of my entire gaming life down the drain ;_;

Other than that, I'm also doing pretty terrible in my senior year of high school >_> Though I'm pretty sure I can improve.

I also follow the "in college, no money" category. I have a scholarship application due Monday, a magazine article for class due Tuesday, a literary analysis paper on I have no idea due Thursday, my college anime club to help run which is having two meetings and a party this week and I have to figure out when I can make it back home to vote and grab my jacket. It's starting to get colder here.

My nanna recently went into hospital with a heart attack so im pretty worried about her. Apart from that, the trials and tribulations of unemployment in the UK is taking its toll, what with the economic crisis making the highest unemployment since the early nineties, thus making a job even harder to find. The conundrum is, having failed one of my units for uni Ive got to resit that this year, which means if I do get a job its going to be a bitch to get my unit done on top of that. Also having no job means my funds have rapidly depleted, leaving me with no money for manga or much of anything else. Also its becoming evident that I need a girlfriend as Im getting to the phase when im envying my friends and their relationships. STOP SMOOCHING IN FRONT OF ME DAMMIT.

My dog recently had a stroke, we're gonna have to move out of our house by the end of the month, my sister's had to go to a mental ward, I've had three essay papers to write in the last week, my copy of Suikoden II got scratched up by a friend, my copy of Slam Dunk vol. 1 god water damage, and I have yet to finish Kaiba.

Besides all that, I'll just be honest: I want free manga.

Monday i recieved back a test from AP government, FAIL.
Tuesday i got yelled at for not coming home 20 minutes earlier.
Wednesday, i lost my FAVORITE two handed sword in Mabinogi in a bet.
Friday, i lost my job at geek squad. (for installing & playing mabinogi at work. -_-) My girlfriend left me later that night too. and for another guy who "isn't as nerdy as you"
last night i got grounded for having a C in one of my classes. (AP government, none the less.)
got my computers taken away, but i still have my psp. ill be able to surf the net on it.

first off i am in highschool, and taking advance classes that give homework and projects every day pretty much. The thing is i don't have time to do with marching band. Which practice is monday, tuesday, and thursday, 5:20 to 9:00. Then games on Friday 5:20 to 11:00. Then compotitions or all day practices from 8:00 to 8:00 or 8:00 to 2:00 in the morning. Also i have trouble with girls.
SO PLEASE GIVE SOME MANGA.

My basement is being redone so everything and everyone is clustered upstairs.

I am making less money at work because I am back at school.

School, car, transportation and food cost more than what I can get at work..

Also, Canada is cold, and most of my pants are locked in a container while my basement is being done..

I also forgot to say, both my parents are diagnoesed with cancer, and my brother just ran away, and we can't find him.

My parents are going through this *really* nasty divorce, to the point where there's now a restraining order against my dad. So it's been up to me and mum to catigorize all of the undisputed items in the household and move them out for him. And then the man changes his mind and decides he dosn't want to pick his stuff up today, after we've gone through all the arrangements.

Because of said divorce, I'm also the unofficial councilor for my mum. NOT AMUSED IN THE LEAST BIT. I've grown to not care about ANYBODY'S emotions at this point.

Then there's school stuff- I'm a college senior and doing clinicals, so I've had more homework this semester than my entire college career combined. SO much practising (music therapy major. Lots of instruments) and studying and trying to keep up with classes.

My new car also has a leaky transmission, and I have neither the time nor money to go fix that.

And on top of everything, my hockey team started the season 0-3 and my football team has lost their last 3 games.

I've been having a lot problems these months , i have been broke for a month now walking from school back and over 5 miles, grades look really bad because of all the stress and little time i have. I wake up very late everyday so am mostly late to school, teachers are picking on me for no reason, projects are almost every two weeks and there's always tests, i doze of in some classes when i wake up oh a big F on my test -_-, lunch is bad especially when people who have to buy it ask you for food cause i am a nice guy i manage to give them half, being cracked on is no fun, i've been stuck in my house for a month, i sleep right when i come from school waking up at 8:00pm and going back to sleep at 12:00pm because my body just falls asleep at that time, i need to read two books and do a project for each of them in each quarter, school library doesn't have manga and most public library have about 5 books and there all scattered everywhere, holloween is a no go because i have no costume, and i was acused of stealing because my friend tought it was a funny joke, I can't go to a program of art because its way two far and because bus passes can be used only ten times thats alot of money, and a japanese language program might not be starting because some people don't want to join, field trips to field of screams and factory of terror cost 15 dollars, and i'm trying to save up to buy some games, I trying to find a job no luck yet, this year is gonna be awful for me the only thing holding me up is the wish to move to japan one day it looks very slim right now.

So, I was living with my brother deep in the boonies, when one day he decided we were gonna move to the big leagues, things went great from then, we had alot of fun, met this awesome chick, and arrived in the big city with bright eyes and bright ambitions, but then that's when it happened, the big city is filled with people who don't like our kind, even to the point of chasing us around in their fancy hoity toity vehicles! Anyway, I managed to find a small vehicle before we left, and we got around with help from the chick's friends, but next thing I knew, my bro was stealing one of the big guy's cars!

I thought he was just borrowing it, but no, he stole it, added some decals, a fresh coat of paint, and now it's his! Anyway, from there we strove to change the world, and make a place for people like us to live in the big city, at least, that was the goal. Last night, my bro passed away in a shoot out with some other people over us trying to steal their mobile home. We got the mobile home, but was it really worth it? Bro was everything to me, and now I just feel empty.

...Oh, and I found some girl in a box and now she won't leave me alone.

college = no money for my greatest passion, manga

plus i have an essay due tomorrow and my first draft was completely wrong and i have to start from scratch. im new at this university so i dont know anyone here, and all my fri/sat nights are spent huddled in front of the computer hoping the connection doesnt give out in the middle of the last episode of Code Geass

My main problem is one leading towards success, but causing me much anguish in the process. I am currently going through the M.A. in Teaching at my college, and it's driving me into the ground. The first problem is that the only way I can attend school is to work a graveyard shift job 5 nights a week. It's not so bad in and of itself, but school hours, during which I have to do service hours, observation hours, and tutoring all take place from 7 am- 2 pm: my sleep time. Also, on 3 days of the week, I am stuck on my college campus for at least 9 hours for classes, leaving me heavily under rested, and dead-as-a-doornail. This leaves me with a very agitated girlfriend and cat, both of whom vie for my attention during the hours I should be sleeping, resulting in much less sleep. On top of that, my lack of sleep, crazy course-load, and girlfriend time leave me with very little A) Money and B) time. Where does anime/manga/videogames/ fit in? No where. I beg you Japanator, help me, PLEASE GOD HELP ME!

P.S. Also, there is a small chance that my job will stop paying for my Graduate Tuition. If this happens, bye school, as I can't afford it otherwise. 5 years, wasted.

Ninjas kidnapped my family, and my jeep needs a new transmission, I dropped out of college. Currently I'm working on learning Ninjutsu, but last night I had to play D&D and my Fighter/Mage died. So now I have to role up a new character, finish learning ninjutsu and then go on a quest to locate my family because I have no money to pay for anything.

Then I found out this chick I thought was my girlfriend (first ever) was just using me for sex and likes to regularly get plowed by groups of strange men for no reason at all.

Luckily I'm learning ninjutsu.

Our dog decided he didn't want to live with me as I have yet to return our family and threw himself in front of an Ice Cream Truck. And our fish all jumped out of the tank, leaving me a note that simply says "You Sux K?"

And to top it all off, my friend Ryan stepped on my SlayStation Portable, completely destroying my 4 MILLION HOUR save data!

I've been sick since last week & missed a whole week of school last week & I've still been a bit sick (puked at church) & I've hardly had time to play Tales of Symphonia.

& I wish I had more money so I could get a PSP & some more manga. I applied for a job, but who knows when I'll get a response....

I was having a grand old time with the game Mega Man 9. I had beaten Splash Woman, Galaxy Man, Concrete Man, and Jewel Man. The last boss alone took me 5 COMBINED hours. My friend comes over, and I say "Hey! Let's play some Mega Man 9!" We proceed to start, and when I die, I go and save.

Out of habit, I click the "SAVE 1" slot. Over all my 12+ hours of progress.

Okay, so first I get my job (which I LOVE) taken from me because I make too much money, the guy who replaces me has the same name as my jerk of a biological father.

I was in the hospital two weeks before school started because they thought I had cancer. Two days after my birthday, my grandmother, who I had been taking care of for the past seven years, dies. My birthday itself was spent in Hooters with my gay cousin and my younger brother.

I had to get rid of two of my cats, and I had to be the one to go and do it, after I watched them give birth to their kittens. A little while after this, I receive a $141 ticket for accidentally running a stop sign.

My best friend's grandfather died last week, so I've been doing my best to console them. My washer's broken, so I either have to hand wash my clothes or travel to the creepiest landromat on the face of the Earth. It's Silent Hill creepy.

I keep accidentally hitting the record button on my tape player when trying to listen back to an interview I did, screwing up some quotes I wanted.

I failed an exam that if i didn't pass i would have to repeat a year. Lucky my teacher is planning to give me a make up test on friday.. BUT i've been so busy with other work that i haven't had time to study properly... In the end.. look at what i'm doing instead of writing essays and memorizing the Coagulation cascade...

AND i'm sick.... when will this semester end!!!

My lodger has found a buyer for his house, and they have to make a survey before finalising everything.

I've found a new place to lodge, I'm just hoping that nothing falls through, and leaves me in a 'was moving until buyer drops out in the final few weeks of moving out' situation.

Oh, my internet connection keeps dropping out during the evenings; I can't finish all my work on time, leading to one of my managers unfairly getting critisized; I got scared off reading Negima because I felt I was looking at inappropriate images of kids when I was just intending to read a fun manga; I can't seem to put down my ideas for a television series on paper because I don't seem to have the motivation (the same goes for my artwork...)...

You guys think THAT'S bad!? I had to jettison a 783 million dollar reentry vehicle in the bottom of the ocean, then some stupid girl saw me as I tried to escape, so I had to beat up some guys and steal an ambulance to get away. And then the ambulance's radio went off with some call, and when i got there I found some girl standing next to a dead body with blood all over her and she wanted to go get something to eat. Later I found she has split personalities and she likes me. The problem is, it's the guy side personality that likes me. To make matters worse, we went on vacation together to some rural town out in the middle of nowhere, and it was all fine and dandy, until some guy we met on the first day refused to stop taking pictures of her in weird poses. It wasn't all bad since they invited me to their "FEE-AY-STAH" but ever since I got back I haven't been able to stop scratching my throat since it's been really REALLY itchy.

I have little money and time plus I am low on money.

Well, my car was totalled a few weeks ago when it was hit from behind by a Toyota golf cart, and knocked into an Accura in the oncoming lane. I just cashed the check to buy a new(er) Civic, but now I have car payments to worry about.

Kagamin, my friends hate each other and I'm stuck in the middle. D:
Basically my one friend, calling her Sam, hates my other friend, now called Serene, just because she chose to hang out with someone else. It's so ridiculous. This started in mid-September.
I've been trying to get the to talk to each other, but my friend Sam is so stubborn and self-centered. When I ask her about it or confront her, she simply says that why they fight doesn't matter anymore. Obviously, I ask her why she keeps a grudge then, and she simply brushes it off.
Last time I confronted her, yesterday, she became very defensive and she said she was sorry for being my friend, then "blocked" me on messenger. It seemed so juvenile. But a few hours later, she came on and said sorry to me. I knew she would, because no matter what, she always comes back to me. I don;t know why I've put up with this all these years. I love the girl, really, but boy can she really get on one's nerves.

4 years ago my mother had a car accident and has been almost completely paralyzed since. My father has tried to kill me since I was 10. I basically have to do everything around the house every single day. I've never had a meaningful relationship and the way my life is panning out I doubt I ever will. Hell, the ONLY relationship I've ever had was pretty much a joke. My dog recently ran away and I found him run over a few blocks down the road. I spend my days either doing homework, going to class, or listening to a bunch of idiots rant pointlessly (looks at #japanator), obnoxiously even at that (looks at Kuro >_>). The only things that keep me going are video games and anime (which I barely have time for right now) and the possibilty that I might at some point find a girl (chances are .05%). And to top it off nothing good can possibly happen until this semester ends.

Also Heath Ledger died... wait.... nevermind...

I'll let you guys decide if any of this is true...

Some 21 years and 9 months ago a lot of people had sex. I've been suffering from adult onset bipolar disorder for the past two years of my life essentially ruining everything I knew about my life and myself. Finally it all culminated in the end of my relationship with the girl I planned to marry due to the fact that she also suffers from a mental illness and our conflicts eventually resulted in a horrible end to what was a beautiful relationship. Now, skip ahead 6 months and said love of my life is addicted to uppers, and slowly losing sight of reality and the only person she trusts to help her is me. So I spend much more money than I can afford to drive the 30 miles a few times a week back and forth in my 1994 explorer with 237,000 miles on it to perform the soul crushing task of taking care of the woman I love but know I can't have.

To add to my day of despair, I've really been hoping to buy a set of bedsheets lately. There's two options, a green set and a pink set.

So, right now I'm in quite the pickle. So, my knight in shining armor SEIBAA needs to get a mana transfer, but I'm not sure how to do it, my teacher/chain smoking/probably lesbian tsundere friend Tohsaka keeps telling me that I just need to move my hips but if I do that then I'll be sticking my pee stick into SEIBAA, it seems to be painful for her and the last time we did it she bled and peed on me, then I had to go to the bathroom really badly in the middle of it so I felt embarrassed and swore never to enter SEIBAA again. Oh, and there were weird 3DCG dragons and lava everywhere, one of them even ripped my arm off! (although it quickly came back one the CG vanished...how strange)

It's hard to create original content in field where everyone is passionate about what they're writing about. Every blog post you write, every review you do, it feels like someone did it before you. The worst thing is that you're trying to leave a mark on people, get your opinions out there, and you have to be able to do it in a way that gives those people what they want, and not reinvent the wheel. Blogging about manga is possibly one of the harder things I've done in my life.

My laptop started acting really funny, with the screen just turning black. I drive an hour to drop it off for repairs. They keep it, say it's repaired. I go back, to bring it home, they decide to close early.

I go back again the next day, bring it home. It dies again. I take it back again. They say to wait for 30 mins. 2 hours later they take me back into the back room to show me the laptop. It's disassembled and the mother board is in a TOASTER OVEN. I wish I was kidding. Apparently that helps reattach...something.

I go back home, call them today and they proclaim it properly dead. I have to go pick up the corpse tomorrow.

I now have to do all of my portfolio work on a 5 year old pc and if I don't complete it this semester, I don't graduate.

@electric goldfish: Actually, since I'm currently working IT support at a hospital near campus, I can reaffirm the toaster oven method. Assuming you do it right the point of it is to heat up the solder on the motherboard so as to help make sure all the chips and pins are on well. You use a toaster oven instead of a microwave since the radiation in a microwave would effectively kill any of the integrated chipset parts, but a toaster oven shouldn't harm it assuming you keep it below a certain temperature.

The same kind of logic is applied when using the "towel method" on red-ringed Xbox 360s. In that case though the heat the CPU and GPU give off heat the whole case, with the towel preventing cool air from getting in. The problem with this method over using a toaster oven however is the potential to permanently damage the CPU and GPU since they aren't being cooled properly and thus build up to a much higher temperature than is safe for them.

Recently, I've been working for my neighbour. This is convenient, since I get a free ride to work. However, all is not well as my neighbour happens to smell like a horse. I don't mean that he smells bad to the same degree a horse does - I mean he actually literally smells like a horse. At first I just ignored it, but the constant horsestench is driving me insane. The drive to and from work is absolutely unbearable to the point I'm probably going to start taking the bus. What's worse is that he doesn't just smell in enclosed spaces... If we're outside and the wind shifts I risk losing my lunch. I can't handle it anymore. I think I'm going to snap...

Recently me and my friends have been doing lots of dangerous jobs against our wills. We've all nearly died on occasion and I could've sworn me and my buddy had actually died one time... But none of that really matters anymore. All my friends just died, leaving me all alone. Then I had to do another dangerous job that I didn't want to all by myself and completely fucked it up... I'm terrified right now and don't want to do any more of these jobs. I'm gonna go to school now and think about things maybe things'll turn out for the better...

It's not easy being me. I mean, at one second, I'm just living the life of a tech nerd, and the next, I'm thrown into piloting a prototype mobile suit and being told I have not-quite psychic powers, they say it's a New Type of power. College applications suck. They suck ass. I HATE THEM WITH A PASSION! I hate the essays you have to write for them and I hate everything about them.

I just had to sit through four hours with my grandparents listening to how Obama will destroy America. That we can expect another major terrorist attack within 5 months if Obama is elected as well as immediate riots on November 5th whether or not he wins; one being in anger and the other celebration, because apparently people don't know how to be angry without flipping and torching cars. They also believe Presidential term limits should be removed so McCain can remain in office for as long as he lives allowing him to fix all of the problems of the previous democratic presidents and insuring Bush's policies are properly followed through.

It was especially hard listening to this as we were being served dinner by two african-american waiters who had to smile, grit their teeth, and do everything in their power from pouring a drink over someone's head for what they were saying. They're also forced to act exactly like the driver from Driving Miss Daisy or a maid in a Civil War era plantation home except without the "yessum, massuh" as this was at an ultra conservative Baptist retirement community. They just happen to all be old enough and from families that all had servants or family maids that were then black, today african-american, so have continued the tradition of staffing their community with what they're used to.

One of my best buds was found to have a brain tumor the size of a tennis ball right behind his left eye today. First off I tried recovering my anime/manga collection on my hard drive (this was around 280 gigs) to no avail. I figured I had a remote chance by using a bootable/live version of Linux, but it wouldn't read at all. I was hoping to get a backup hard drive this Christmas from my loving family or girlfriend... kinda too late for that obviously.

I just found out that my family is going on a cruise this Thanksgiving, but I'm not because I'm away at college. I don't really want to go on a cruise, because that money could be used on a trip to Japan... but its still annoying to be left alone during the holidays, and really annoying to hear it from my aunt, and not from my family.

School sucks, Psych 101 is a shitty class. To pass, you have to do 3 hours of psychological experiments conducted by random psych professors. That sounds like fun. I'm also loving the grading in that class, 1/3 midterm 2/3 final and thats it. ha..

Lately I've been torn, there are two ways to approach the issue I've had trouble with, from the head, or from the tail, and I just can't seem to decide which way I want to go about attacking it. If I attack from the head, then I'll need to present a full offense to take the grinding and tearing that'll insue, but if I attack from the tail, I can take it apart bit by bit, with the risk that it'll spill out all over the innocents from the head that I'd have to ignore.

This all brings about the real question though...which side of the choco-coronet is the front anyway?

Yesterday I was chased by a bunch of radical evangelical Christians with pitchforks who wanted to burn me because they thought I was a pagan.

So, I died today. Well, ok, I'm not really dead, some loli with constantly changing hair colors told me I'm more or less a replacement for the absence created by my dying earlier...the question of course now is when did I die earlier? Well, whatever, point is, I'm dead, and according to the hazy, flame-wielding loli, also known as a Flame Haze, I'll be disappearing soon, but none of you will remember me, so you'll ignore this post. Allow me to take this moment to say words of insult to the following people.

I have a computer science class test coming up and I have a stack of unfinished/unplayed discs including names like Shuffle, Dead Space, Ever 17, Shakugan no Shana, Armored Core:For Answer, Guilty Gear 2: Overture, Hourglass of Summer, Gears of War for PC, and Clannad (the game - I've got 2 routes left)...it's a pretty eclectic stack...

Midterm...do I have to say anything else.
