I am not mocking Anime. I love anime. I have the entire Death Note series on DVD and Stand Alone Complex. I'm just saying I went before it was a boom. I'm an old man. (40!)

Secondly, I don't think most people who actually watched the interview would have thought that you were mocking anime. That would require quite a leap of imagination.

It really is me and yes, I really read this website. An intern at NPR did a very good neo-anime rendition of part of my book, which got posted today. It involves one of the craziest stories I ever wrote about and got involved in--good cops, bad yakuza, good yakuza, lions, tigers, rare dogs, pet shops, black mail, dismemberment, flesh eating pets, a yakuza mistress and former girlfriend, and the New Jersey of Japan. He got most of the story right but I think some of the details got lost in condensing the story. Check it out.

Dead customers never complain about customer service. In this sense, Sekine's customized customer service plan was almost perfect.
