The Arcade Operators Union Entertainment Expo is a show that I never seem to make it out to. It takes place in the same joint that the Tokyo Game Show does, but just at the wrong time of year for me. I love arcades, arcade games, and booth babes, so this show is right up my alley. And so is this coverage of the event on Destructoid.
Highlights include tons of pictures; some booth babes; Daemon Bride, 2D goodness from the Arcana Heart makers; and tree fondling. The last one refers to a game by Taito called Midori no Osewa, which has players touching parts of a tree to grow a virtual one. Their custom tree can be sent to their keitai, too. Proceeds from the game will be given to eco-charities.
Head over to Destructoid to check out the pictures, video, and coverage.
