The group dynamic on this show was really good. It can be tricky to wrangle even three or four people together and keep from talking over each other, but the six of you worked well together. Maybe that's the result of a lot of editing, but I prefer to give you the benefit of the doubt. :p

Nodame Cantabile: Finale is on my definite to-watch list after I blitzed through the first two seasons last week, it might be the only one I'm going to add. I'm hoping for more discussion on it next week when its first episode is out :p
I really enjoyed this, I'd tried to get into a bunch of podcasts like those on Destructoid but this is the only one I've really found interesting through the whole thing. It was a bit jarring hearing all the japanator pronunciations, I always have thought of it like terminator with jap on the front, so it felt like I was doing it wrong.

2) fanservice ecchi anime (the stuff you are discussing anyway) is geared toward men. Most men like to dominate their women in sexual situations. Dumb big breasted moe girls fill this visual almost completely.
3)Didn't care for Lagann either. I had two reasons for watching it and one was killed off.

So Evangelion ends well? Thank you for that. I watched the series and it did it's thing as in it pissed me off. Now I might consider watching the movie so it get that out of my system.
True about Gundam 00, I started watching Gundam because of it. I watched seed and seed destiny but I only made it to the end thanks to the piercing gaze of my bf in the back of my head.
After the first season of 00 I was looking forward to the second one. After seed I was too fed up with the angst-yness to watch seed destiny.

Just finished listening to the podcast. I thought it was excellent. Karen you're doing a good job as the host, keep it up. I'd also like to hear more about J-Dramas, I've never seen one myself but they do sound interesting. I'd also love to hear some thoughts on older anime or have everyone recommend a show they're pretty sure no one's seen. Overall an awesome podcast and can't wait for episode two!
Now for a minor complaint. Some people didn't sound clear as others, everyone was understandable it's just that sometimes they were harder to hear.
