I know, I know, you've heard it all over the Internet: Get out and vote tomorrow. And I know, not all of you Japanator readers can get out and vote, whether it be because you're too young or because you don't live in America. So, sorry for bothering you with this. But to the rest of you who can vote, please do so. This year, there are a lot of precedents on the table, both locally and nationally.
And really, I don't care which way you vote, but more importantly that you go out and do it. Voter turnout has gone down and down in recent years, because of apathy, laziness, or whatever else might have prevented people from getting out and making their voice heard. It really doesn't take that much time to research a little bit of what the presidential, senatorial, and other candidates that you'll find on your local ballot. Google takes fifteen minutes. You can do it.
So, I hope that you'll go out and vote. Whether it's because of Proposition 8, because of the office of the President, or hell, even for the lulz. Just go out and vote.
Here in TN most of the congressmen on the ballot need to be kicked out, so you can imagine how tempting it was to me to punch in "Kamina" as a write-in...
Lastly, Colbert is cool, Proposition 8 rocks, and I'm praying the elephant tramples the jackass, this election more than ever...
