I must say Zac, if it wasn't for your love of Polysics and reminding us they where on tour, I might have missed them.

I'm more a Rock/Metal/Techno/Industrial fan and was a hurt I missed GPKISM last week in San Antonio. But I went up to Austin for the Polysics show last night and I’m was very impressed with them. I live in Corpus Christi and I had to be at work Sat at 6 am so I was un-able to make the show in SA Friday night.

Thankfully we didn't have any of the tools that were described at the San Fran show.

I met the band and they are awesome. Not only in their stage show, but in how they treat their fans. They all took turns and came out and worked the merchandise table and signed autographs for everyone and posed for a few pics when the House management wasn’t looking. So folks had to sneek pics with their Cell phones. Here are what pics I was able to get with my phone. I really wish was able to take my Nikon in but oh well.

It was a small club, off 6th Street in Austin and held like 350 ppl and there was every one from High School kids to some classically Gray folks. After picking up A Tshirt and the Absolutle Polysics CD, I went back and picked up 1 of the rest of the CDs they where selling. And was able to pick up Fumi’s Set list and would like to send it to you if you would want it. It’s like the one that’s in the Flickr link, but without Hiroyuki’s notes.

So I would like to give you a heart felt Thank you to you Zac for always pushing them. It made the trip and Sleepless night driving home well worth it!

PS I noticed how the last episode was 320kbps. Is there a reason you don't do all of them at this quality? Size?

Since I have a pretty good sound system and enjoy my weekly dose of new Japanese music at MOTHERFUCKING EXTREME VOLUME, the sound quality is quite noticeable to me, especially going from say 128 to 320.

MyakuX9: Yes. I try and keep the file size smaller because we do have limited space. I'm also hoping to get older shows up, so the smaller size will allow more shows to go up sooner. Sorry if it offends your expert ears! :D

HaloZ: Wow, that's great! I'm glad you had a great time and got some cool souvenirs. Isn't the band the nicest band ever? I have very much the same experience the first time I saw them. Thanks for the set-list offer, but I think that's something you should hold on to. It might be a long time before they come around again. T__T

First set and artist spotlight were excellent for this episode. The Brown sound awesome! They remind me a lot of school food punishment, who are one of my favorite Japanese bands.
