by Zac Bentz, 09/08/2008

Here it is! Finally, year two of Japanator Radio, and we're kicking it off in style with a huge contest give-away extravaganza!

Contest, you say? That's right. In addition to new tunes from the likes of Polysics, Immi and Avengers in Sci-Fi on this week's show, we are also giving away a ton of music. Thanks to JapanFiles.com, HearJapan.com, Tokyo no Records, Karaterice, Hacktone, N2O Records and others, we have a wide range of really cool stuff for you to win and roll around in. What can you win and how do you enter? All of that is after the jump. Hint, it is super easy to win. So grab the new show and join us after the jump to win the epic goodness!

OK, here's the deal:

To enter the Japanator Radio contest, all you have to do is leave a comment in this post answering these two questions:

1. Who is your favorite Japanese band/artist?
2. What is your favorite genre of music?

That's it! Easy! So what can you win? I'm glad you asked! We have 10, yes 10 prizes.

9 runners-up will win:

- 100 free songs from JapanFiles.com (must create an account first)
- 1000yen in credit from HearJapan.com (must create an account first)

1 Grand Prize winner will get:

- 100 free songs from JapanFiles.com (must create an account first) AND a Fresh Cuts from Japan - Hardcore CD
- 4000yen in credit from HearJapan.com (must create an account first)
- The Captains Last Group Sounds and Thee 50's High Teens Punch Da Beat CDs from Tokyo no Records
- Spunks and Bakubeni CDs from Karaterice

- Polysics We Ate the Machine CD/DVD
- Bomb Factory Moshing Through Tokyo, Uzumaki Sonic Break the Barrier, Land of The Rising Sound compilation, DJ Baku Spinheaddz CDs from N2O Records
- And more!!!!

We should be getting even more stuff to give away very soon, so make sure to check back to see what's been added.

You have ONE WEEK to add your comment. Winners will be chosen at random on Sunday, September 14th. Winners will be notified by email and will be announced on the show and on the site. You must create a Japanator account (if you don't have one already) in order to leave a comment, and you must use a valid email address so we can contact you if you win. Multiple entries will be ignored and you will burn in Hell for all eternity, so don't do it.

That's it! Simple. Add you comment now and you might get a load of stuff. Yay!

HUGE THANKS to all of the companies and labels who provided items for the contest. Please check out their sites, buy their stuff and go to their shows. Let them know just how much you want to see and hear more from your favorite Japanese bands!
