Welcome to part two of our summer preview! We did part one yesterday, and now it's time for this next batch. Be excited, for we'll be giving you a special double scoop tonight with our part three!
What can you expect after the jump? How about the cuteness and awkward sexuality of Mitsudomoe? Or the inevitable tsundere in Okami-san? How about the Inuyasha ripoff that's sure to be Nurarihyon no Mago?
We'll let you know what to watch, what to avoid, and who is covering what. We've got all the bases covered, although I still don't know who's on first.

Mitsudomoe

Cute girls doing cute and sometimes ecchi (pronounced ecky) things. A gag manga, much in the vein of Azumanga Daioh, Minami-ke and K-ON!, this should be our cute and moe show for the season. So, as you can guess, t here's not too much we can say about the plot, but note that these girls are all in sixth grade.
So yes, you should feel bad if they sexually excite you.
But fear not, Karen will be covering the show this season, in the hopes that it's the second coming of Hanamaru Kindergarten. Her words, not mine.
Nurarihyon no Mago

Three quarters human, one quarter demon. Already, my Inuyasha senses are tingling. So he's the grandson of a powerful demon clan, but loves his human friends. He'll protect them when he can become a demon for one quarter of a day -- which actually sounds pretty useful unless he's in some sort of long-term combat.
Packed with all-star talent like Hirano Aya, Horie Yui and the writer behind Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, it looks like this super-popular manga might actually win over some cold and frozen hearts here on the Jtor staff.
Right now, nobody has claimed the show, but we'll see what happens when it airs.
Ookami-san and his Seven Friends

A high school comedy/romance! How original! Our Taiga-esque brown-haired girl works with her school club to fix peoples' problems. The show will parody a number of classic fairy tales, such as Little Red Riding Hood and The Art and The Grasshopper -- a mix of Western and Eastern lore -- and should prove to be good entertainment.
What I'm guessing will happen is that the club will slowly grow as our Taiga heroine turns more and more people over to her helpful ways, beyond her Red Riding Hood-esque little friend.
It's got Horie Yui and Kugimiya Rie. Excitement, for sure. Also, I expect plenty of tsun tsun from Josh Tolentino, who will be covering the show for us. Also, expect lots and lots of doujins, I bet.
