Japanator Saimoe 2012: Spring/Summer Semifinal photo

We have arrived at Week 7 of Japanator Saimoe 2012 and the end is coming into view. The final four girls have been decided, and after what looks to be an intense semifinal, we will be ready to vote on our winner! Who will be chosen as this year's paradigm of animated appeal? Let's get to our match and find out.

Our first semifinal is a battle between two young ladies who are wise beyond their years: the brilliant, SCIENCY mind of Kurisu Makise and the adorable, melancholy innocence of Rin Kaga. After just missing the top seed in nominations, KURISTINA destroyed her competition leading up the semifinals. Rin has also had a fairly easy path, only encountering minor resistance in the quarters. Now it's time to see which of these two unstoppable forces will play for the championship!

Click on through for your results from the Winter Quarterfinal and then get ready to vote! There are only a few rounds remaining, so if you haven't participated yet, what have you been doing with your life?!? Join in on the action while you still can.

Winter Quarterfinal Results:

Full Bracket | Rules & Schedule | Updates via Twitter

As expected, the all-Nisemonogatari Winter quarterfinal remained close throughout as voters essentially chose their favorite girl from the series. The Fire Sisters held their own and Hitagi has proven we still have some Senjougahara Fascination left in us, but ultimately Shinobu and her expanded screen time could not be stopped. She will take onPersona 4's Chie in the second Semifinal later this week, so stay tuned.
