Sweet Strawberry, Savory Seafood

[TokyoTreat provided a Premium box and the reviewer has an affiliate partnership with TokyoTreat]

When we were away for a bit, the awesome folks over at TokyoTreat once again sent me one of their yummy box of of snacks and I got to try out some tasty stuff from their Premium Valentine's day box. Now this box is a from way back but I hope to give everyone an idea of how they handle their selection in regards to their theme. Once again, I am wowed with their varied selection of goodies that I don't usually see at my many local Asian supermarkets.

TokyoTreat is a subscription based service that brings you the most premium Japanese snacks and candies to your door every month, whether they're sweet, sour, and/or savory. Being based in Japan, TokyoTreat has the hookups with the manufacturers and distributors, allowing them to deliver the freshest and trendiest sweets and snacks to your door much faster than your local Asian store (if you even have one).

This Valentine's themed Premium box would have one thinking that it's going to be full of chocolate to be appropriate with the theme but it is more than one would expect. Instead of just brown chocolate, TokyoTreat brings some pink colored chocolates which happen to be strawberry flavored chocolate and as a lover of strawberry flavored sweets, I was ecstatic and gobbled it all up soon after wishing for more. Other sweets weren't just strawberry chocolate, peach was also represented due to the fruit being associated with the color pink.

On the savory side, clam soup flavored chips and shrimp crackers were providing that seafood crunch for those wanting to get that snack food flavor you just can't get here in US. I'm saving those for a video in the near future, so stay tuned!

The TokyoTreat Premium Valentine's box very much satisfied me with the selection and that strawberry chocolate. I also liked the savory snacks that balances out all the sweet stuff. A really nice selection and it feels like they made this box just for me.
