A 13 year old in Shimane prefecture went ahead with a plot to murder his father last week, after having written several notes about how he planned to carry out the stabbing. It wasn't clear if these notes about his father's impending demise were actually written in a journal or not, but it'd be pretty awesome if he did. Not that murdering your father is awesome, but the header picture I used would be a bit funnier if that was the case.
From what I understand, the notes themselves were rather detailed. He was apprehended the next day, but I have to wonder why he stuck around after that. Maybe his plans didn't include an escape. Of course, not leaving notes behind might have helped matters.
It's said that the reason for the murder was due to being beaten by his father for poor grades in school. I get that he might be a little ticked off about that, but you'd think studying a bit might be a better alternative to murder, right? I found this last detail a tad bit ironic, but he showed up to class the morning after the murder, on time. At least they'll say he was punctual.
