Japanese man secretly films over 1,000 women photo

A 45-year-old man in Ehime Prefecture was arrested on Wednesday for being a total creeper. Particularly for taking "indecent videos" of two shop assistants in Matsuyama last November. The man also had tons of images of over 1,000 women at his home. Ewww.

The man, Yuji Maekawa, 45, was arrested in specific for taking up-skirt videos back in November of the aforementioned store assistants with a small hidden camera that was shaped like a car remote key fob. After searching the man's home, police found seven other hidden cameras including ones that looked like a ball-point pen, a wristwatch, and a lighter. Police also uncovered videos of over 1,000 women on hard disk drives in Maekawa's apartment.

During questioning, the man was quoting as saying that filming these women satisfied his sexual desire. You know, if I were him, I don't think I'd be admitting that to the police. And the notion of being filmed on a secret camera to be lusted over by some creep is a super unsettling idea. I shudder just to think of it, though this case isn't really that unique. Kind of sounds like another Law & Order SVU episode.

MOAR weird news:

And this is from a country that practises "shame culture"........
^perhaps they practice it too hard. Maybe it's that attitude that makes so many middle age men so....

FUCKING DEPRAVED.

SssssSSSSSsssss...
It been done for so many years.
I can't summon up a proper amount of outrage when the header image is Mayumi.
Ahh Mayumi, I'm glad they finally added a game with her route that wasn't a fantasy inside Kaede's head.... several years after the original game was released. Anyway, it's a pretty bad that this guy had been doing able to keep it up for that long. Though part of me applauds him on his collection of spy-like hidden cameras.
How very GTO-ish.
He had no idea what internet pr0n is
... well, he didn't rape anyone, did he? :/

+1 for decency.
Never mind putting him in jail - offer him a job with the local police force instead! This guy is a master detective, he just needs direction to put his abilities to better use!
I agree with many of the comments above who mentioned that this men has good detective skills and should use it better.. Someone mentioned the fact that he didn't rape anyone which makes me wonder that nobody was physically injury but how much of those females were hurt emotionally ..I don't know how much damage he did by doing that other then invading privacy in a shameful way.. (which is very serious too ) The question now is , how much of punishment he will get..that is up for Japanese law..I look forward for updates on this case
haha yea putting the moral/ethical issues aside filiming over 1,000 women without them knowing is an impressive feat. so yea that guy HAS to be good at what he does
Ugh, this dude is disgusting. And not admirable at all, come on.
1,000? Damn, is that a new high score? Go Nippon!
"a wristwatch,"
Made me think of Death Note and Yagami's watch thing.
lol needs leader board and chat box
@theseventhl- Agreed!

those hidden pen/watch cameras aren't all that "out there" anymore. They sell them on Amazon.
* wonders if this guy has been reading too much into the "Voyeur" manga...
Creepy? Yes. But there's way worst types of crimes all around the world, so yeah, it's not like the guy is the anti-christ or anything. Give him some jail time and move on.

But making him a detective? Like, giving him autorization to spy on unsuspecting women? I don't think that's quite right...
