Kyousogiga returns with a short online series

Aug 26 // Chris Walden    @EuricaeriS

The original Kyousogiga ONA landed in December of last year, offering an intriguing, insane and colourful look at not-Kyoto. On its own, it didn't really reveal a whole lot about what the series is about or where it was going, only that it contained the same kind of lunacy you would expect to see in FLCL or Dead Leaves. However, we've known a sequel was coming for a while now, but it seems like it'll be here sooner than you think.

It is now confirmed that the show will return for another five episodes, each of which will be available online on Nico Douga, Bandai Channel and Youtube. When does it start? In less than a weeks time on the 31st, it seems! The release schedule is as follows:

Episode 1: August 31st
Episode 2: October 27th
Episode 3: November 10th
Episode 4: December 8th
Episode 5: December 22nd

A bit strange to be skipping September and doubling up in December, but hey, free anime! No word on whether or not the series will be subtitled when they go online, but time will tell soon enough. I don't know about you guys, but I'm certainly going to try it out again!
