Lash out at your Evangelion obsession
With the new, Evangelion 3.0 movie still burning in everyone's memory, the tidal wave of Neon Genesis Evangelion merchandise is not slowing down anytime soon. This time the target is young girls. When watching Evas smash each other to pieces on screen, I'm sure the first thing that popped into everyone's head was, "Man, those 2D girls sure do have nice eyelashes." Since Kyary Pamyu Pamyu built her empire on fake eye lashes, perhaps it's a smart market to conquer, but this is getting crazy. You can get a pair in either light blue or orange, representing Rei and Asuka respectively, depending on your personality type. They can be ordered online at the online Evangelion store for ¥1,480, and will be shipping sometime in March. One redeeming quality is the packaging though, it's pretty cute, and customers will be given special Evangelion Valentine's Day cards. I think I'll have to pass on this one.
