Let's Go Island 3D arcade shooter hits next month

Let me tell you a story about Let's Go Jungle. It's an arcade shooting game where you sit in a little enclosed cabinet made out to look like a safari jeep and you shoot all kinds of enemies with swivel guns mounted to the dash of your vehicle as you careen through the jungle. It's a two player game, with you and one other person taking the part of a man and woman on a vacation gone horribly wrong. Best yet, the game automatically judges your compatibility based on how often you aim at the same target and how well you do on timed button pressing mini games. It's a great time.

I had the opportunity to play this at Disney Quest when I went to Walt Disney World earlier this summer. My partner was some random Japanese man who happened to want to play at the same time as me. Our compatibility was 69%. I could not make this up.

Now you can see why I am so excited that Sega is releasing the follow-up game Let's Go Island next month, which will make use of an incredible 52' glasses-free 3D display. Screenshots indicate a new couple, new mini games, and most importantly sharks. Sharks everywhere. I am excite. Now to find an arcade.
