Let Super Robot Wars UX show you its main characters

Well, most of us can all agree that Super Robot Wars UX has a roster that's both random and a bit underwhelming, but the main deal breaker in most SRW games is the role of the game's original characters. Coming as a slight surprise, the original characters have a military and mercenary background, so there a possible chance that UX will have an interesting plot.

But of course, the first character on the original roster had to be a military soldier that's quiet and gentle. However, Auberge Agnes makes up for this trait by piloting the Riot B (The B stands for Butler), a machine that takes gives combat butlers a new whole meaning -- it's unfortunate that our pilot isn't a butler.

Richard Kruger looks to be the best one of the group, but his status as a leader of a secret organization could lead to him becoming a villain. Then again, his group could be the real heroes in the game, so Auberge might be the one that will have to change sides. Nonetheless, he pilots a machine known as the Orpheus, and his attacks pack quite a punch. Orpheus also gets some points for have a design that's like a fusion between Soulgain and a Gundam.

If Richard is fully playable, then he will get to combo up with the final unveiled character. Since they had to bring family ties into this UX, Saya Kruger is ready to take her father to dance through the battlefield. Unlike the other two character, Saya pilots the Lyrath, which is more of a aircraft than a robot. Though something tells me that her unit will have the ability to change into a robot form. If not, the laws of mecha anime tells me that she will combine with the Riot Butler and/or the Orpheus.

No matter how much hope these characters give me, it won't change the fact that I still think that UX looks like a high resolution DS SRW game. Now if it looked similar or better than both SRW Z2 games for PSP, then it would show that they used their hard work and guts to their fullest. Despite my minor attack on the game, I'm still thinking that they are holding something big from us.

As my judgement remains slightly unchanged, you can drown yourself in a sea of images from UX that showcases the original units, Demonbane's main duo, Hatsune Miku, Linebarrel's titular unit, and a few Gundams from SD Gundam Sangokuden.

If you are curious about the voice actors that are voicing the three main characters, you check them out below.
