Licensing GET: Sentai picks up Chuu2, tons more showsWith just a few short days before the Fall 2012 anime season begins in earnest, the licensing and streaming announcements are starting to roll in. If you ask me, they're almost late to this one, but hey, they're here now, and that's what matters. Leading the vanguard of the "pick up everything" movement is good ol' Sentai Filmworks, who've picked up no less than four of fall's new shows, two of fall's sequel seasons, and one old show, for a total of seven acquisitions. Leading the new lineup is Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai!, Kyoto Animation's new jam. They've also picked up From the New World (which is also being streamed on Crunchyroll), and in a Josh Tolentino-pleasing maneuver (because obviously they have me in mind), picked up Busou Shinki and BTOOM!. On the sequel front they have Medaka Box Abnormal, and the god-tier nutbladder threat Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb, and on the old show front, Studio DEEN's Fate/stay night TV series. And there could be more incoming. If you'd like to find out more about the shows (Fate/stay night excepted), check out part one and part two of our Fall 2012 Anime Preview Guide! How about you? Is there anything in Sentai's fall lineup that you're into? I'm wondering who's going to splurge on Psycho Pass. Did you know?
