Life-size Macross VF-25F Messiah Valkyrie on displayDidn't you know? Life-size Gundam replicas are so last year, Super Dimension Fortress Macross Variable Fighters are now all the rage. This magnificent 1/1 scale VF-25F Messiah Valkyrie --in GERWALK mode-, is currently being showcased at the Macross 30th anniversary exhibition at the Sunshine City complex in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The exhibition will be open to the public until May 6th, but the sexy Valkyrie fighter will also be making an appearance in two other shows to be held later this year in Nagoya and Osaka. Just to give you an idea of how massive this thing is, you are now only seeing its nose and arms --they couldn’t fit it inside the Tokyo venue. Aside from the Valkyrie replica, the exhibition also showcases life-size statues of the characters Lynn Minmay from Macross: Do You Remember Love?, and Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier. A ton of character sketches, image boards, and animation cells from the Macross series are also on display. Did you know?
