After decades of waiting, the first life-sizedGundamever created finally moves! Well, it turns its head from side to side. This glorious event will truly touch the hearts of Gundam fans everywhere! Not only does the Gundam move but it also emits smoke or steam to give that illusion that it's warming up its engines and getting ready to kick ass.
Another great detail put into the life-sized Gundam is that makes sounds similar to that is used in the anime or a similar machine of that size. I can't verify for sure since the video doesn't provide the best audio quality but its as loud as an XBox 360. I just hope we haven't seen everything it can do, heres hoping for something amazing to happen on the eve of Gundam's 30th Anniversary.
Just watch out for those guys shouting "Sieg Zeon"-something hiding behind the ice cream stand, they look like they're up to no good.

Pretty cool, I'll admit. It's definitely a sight to behold, and it's given me all sorts of eerie feelings that I've always wondered about concerning how a real Gundam would stand out against a natural outdoor environment.
I especially like the pictures of it from a distance overlooking the trees and such - they make it seem as natural as seeing a cruise ship at a dock...
@Heero Yuy: You're right. It's funny, it doesn't seem unnatural or strange at all. It should, but it doesn't. We're too accustomed to the idea of a Gundam, I guess?
Pretty awesome. It's so real, it looks fake. It's unreal. Do you know what I mean? The sort of thing that just does not compute. Unbelievably cool. I didn't know about the motion and effects, just the lights.
And yeah, walking would be too hard and dangerous. They'd have to perfect it on a small scale first.
@Dan CiTi: Nah, all we need are space colonies 30 km across at the gravitationally neutral Lagrange points. Then we can start manufacturing Gundanium. By the time that's ready I'll have the Leo Prototype done (aka Tallgeese), and from there European Aristocrats will start buying mass production Leos en masse...
